Connecting Shopify Store

What is connecting your Shopify store in SyncMe?

Connecting your Shopify store links it to SyncMe so you can manage it alongside your other sales channels. Once connected, you can import your product catalog, link matching products using SKU, and sync inventory and orders across your stores.

To follow this guide, you’ll need a SyncMe account. SyncMe offers a Free Trial, so you can try the platform and access the dashboard for free.

Step 1: Select Shopify

On the Sync Channels page, click on Shopify → Sync Channel.

Step 2: Connect Shopify

Click on the Install Shopify App button from SyncMe.

Step 3: Install the Shopify App

You will be redirected to the Shopify App Store page. Click on Install Shopify App to begin the installation process.

Tip: Ensure you are logged into the correct Shopify store before installation.

Step 4: Enter Your Details

On the SyncMe installation page, enter your email address to connect to SyncMe.

Step 5: Choose a Plan

Choose a SyncMe plan or connect your existing SyncMe account if applicable.

Step 6: Confirm the Connection

Once installation is complete, return to SyncMe and verify that the Shopify channel is marked as Connected in your list of channels.

After successfully connecting your Shopify store, proceed with these next steps:

  1. Import Your Inventory: Ensure that products appear in the Product List after import.

  2. Link Matching Products: Link products across channels using the same SKUs (including variants).

  3. Enable Inventory Sync: Prevent overselling by syncing inventory across channels.

  4. Manage Orders: Use the Order Management feature to manage orders and sync updates back to the original store.
